We have recently registered the grounds at Arowhon Pines as a monarch butterfly waystation, with www.monarchwatch.com.
We will be launching the start of butterfly tagging season on Monday, August 5th, 2013, at our annual 100 Mile Challenge Barbecue. Our goal in the next few months is to to tag as many butterflies as we can - and if/when "our" butterflies arrive in Mexico, we will be sent an email confirmation!
The new garden is up by the tennis courts and has both attractor and nesting plants. It will grow bigger and more beautiful every year!
