The Dining Room:
Arowhon Pines rates include accommodation, three meals per day and free use of all recreational facilities. All food is made from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
A stay at Arowhon Pines includes three meals per day prepared with care by a team of chefs, served in a spectacular six-sided, hand-hewn log dining room with a central fireplace and wrap-around verandah overlooking Little Joe Lake.
Unforgettable food is central to the Arowhon experience — we're confident you'll savour every bite. The Arowhon menu combines seasonal ingredients and international influences for meals that you will remember long after you leave.
Early risers enjoy coffee and baker's treats on the verandah, watching the sunrise over the lake. Impromptu barbecue lunches on hot summer days and afternoon tea with scones are all part of the dining experience. We pack hearty picnic lunches for your canoe or hiking trips.
The menu changes daily and seasonally. Menus are posted before every meal. The Arowhon kitchen makes all attempts to buy fresh and local when possible. Chef David Cooke has an intricate system of deliveries and supplies from local farmers.
Parents can enjoy a meal on their own by signing up their children for early dinners followed by group babysitting. Children’s menu options are available at every meal.
Be sure to let us know in advance of any special dietary requirements like gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc. There is vegetarian food at every meal.
Bring your own wine — our food deserves it!
We'll uncork it in the dining room at no extra charge.

Meal-Only Reservations
Our dining room welcomes locals, cottagers and visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For now, we're not booking meal reservations in advance for the busy months from mid-July to the fall. We do ask that you call us the morning of, to see if a table is available. The office opens around 8:15 am.
Dress is casual, shirts and shoes please!
