Employment

Each season we strive to hire a team of positive, outgoing, and friendly people. Everyone agrees when they arrive to pay attention to the teaching that happens to become part of a team whose priority is to provide a memorable holiday for guests. All this, while living life inside gorgeous Algonquin Park and making many new friends! Kindness and respect for each other and good communication are keys to a great summer!

Important Information

  • Entry-level hourly wage is $20 - $23 per hour

  • Room and Board $80 per week - this is your only expense!  SAVE MONEY - to travel! get an apartment! pay back loans! This includes private accommodation, all meals, and utilities including basic internet.

  • Must be able to work until THANKSGIVING MONDAY in October! Start dates are flexible in May, June, or July. We hire a small number of “summer” only students.

  • You must live on-site. All accommodation is in renovated cabins, private rooms with private bathrooms. Staff eat in a common dining room. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, swimming in the lake, hiking trails to see wildlife, fishing, and more, on your time off.  

  • We accept foreign applications that have legal permission to work in Canada. We are happy to discuss your work permit dates and help you with possible extensions.  

  • We follow all Ontario health guidelines.

  • Please be advised that although you may be interviewed for and may spend the majority of your time in one position, Arowhon staff work in all departments depending on business requirements. Everybody helps, including the managers!
