'Around the Fireplace' is where our guests can share stories and pictures of their time at Arowhon.

ODE TO AROWHON:

Along a lost Muskoka trail
Off Highway 60's forest deep
Lies the jewel of Old Algonquin -
A special place where life's still sweet.

Arowhon Pines will lift your spirits,
Her hidden glades will soothe your soul;
Her fresh pine breeze and gentle birdsong
Caress the shores of Little Joe

Cozy cabins with every comfort
Artfully blend with Mother Earth
All detail lovingly created,
From bed to table to fire's hearth.

The timeless lakes refresh and beckon,
Majestic nature heals and stirs
Innocent memoires of bygone treasures,
Simple pleasures beneath the firs.

As you slow to Arowhon's metre,
Life's rightful rhythm is reignited.
With every breath and turn and moment,
Forgotten senses will be delighted.

Hear loon calls echo and warm fire crackle,
See hummingbirds hover and chipmunks scramble;
Stroke clear still waters with wooden paddles,
Behold a moose and her calf's lakeside ramble.

Best bliss of all for gastronomic,
Fine dining for which Pines is legend!
Fresh grown fare lavished with care,
Dance on the palette so resplendent!

Indulgent splendor is Arowhon's bounty,
But if I may, I must object……
How in God's world can I leave such plenty?
The return to real life's my one regret!
